SBSC Time Trial

With the club pennant and ensign being flown at half mast after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the competitors assembled by the Commodore’s Lawn for a quick briefing. 2 laps of the a 3.5 mile course out and  back to the club to be completed “AFAP” (as fast as possible). There was a strong 20+knots coming from the west making tough work at the start and end of a lap and a swish 34mph to be clocked in the middle.

Congratulations to Chloe  3rd, Nick , 2nd and Ben 1st (even over taking a Range Rover and 2 other cars)!

A BIG thank you to Chloe for organising and to Grace and Derek for being starting and time keeping officials.

Well done to all who took part and so good to see some cadets joining in too!
