Thursday 06 June was a busy day for SBSC. As our building was the Loading Control Centre for the D-Day operations, we were asked to host 2 events.
The first was with the Gosport D-Day Fellowship, for their Memorial Dedication Service, where there was a parade from the club to the dedication service on the site of the future memorial, then a return to the club for a reception.
In the evening, we held a commemorative evening with live music from Debbie C, Ration Pie from the galley, a brass band playing right outside the club together with the beacon lighting.
