Comedy night on 16th October
tony vino
A bit of a first for Stokes Bay, we are putting on a comedy night.
We are having three great comedians:

The following menu is available from 7pm to 8:15 for £5 each and needs to be pre-ordered by emailing sbscgalley@gmail.com:
- Meat Lasagne, salad and chips
- Vegetable Lasagne, salad and chips

Andy White is an energetic, confident and silly Brummie who combines silly voices and a mad afro to devastating comic effect. Andy has numerous media appearances, including the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC Choice, Brand Spanking New on BBC Radio 7 and his winning performance on the Weakest Link comedian’s special!

Gerry Kyei is Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest in style, Gerry's comedy is enriched by a somewhat unique perspective

Tony Vino is Preston’s very own funnyman (**** The Scotsman), Tony Vino has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005. Well aware of social and political issues he mixes friendly well thought out observational humour with audience interaction and quick witted responses. A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, Tony has enjoyed recognition as a comedian and comedy compere of renown

Barts Bash Bake-off
bartsbash
Please bring your cakes for the Bake-off on Sunday ready for judging at 13:00

We were overwhelmed by the cakes last year and the amount of effort that people had put into them. So this year we’re putting more effort into the judging; there will be a group of cake lovers who will judge and taste the cakes whilst the rest of us are racing & going around Bart’s Buoy on the water.

From about 14:00 we will auction off the winning cakes, have a cake sale for others and keep some back so that we can all enjoy tea & cakes in the afternoon.

Categories:
**Lemon drizzle**
**Cup cakes**
**Best decoration/most original**
**Scones**
**specified recipe – check out the website for details**

Each of the categories will have two winners: 17 and over and 16 and under

Abandoned Trailers in the Compound
Scrap trailers
Is one of these trailers yours? If so, please remove it ASAP as Larry has his angle grinder ready to cut them up and dispose of to release another couple of much needed berths.

Could we remind you that compound space is very much in demand now with boats on the waiting list giving us a hurdle to attracting more members. Unless you have received prior approval from the Management Committee, trailers that are not in your allocated berth need to be removed. We should let you know that given the demand for berthing right now, it's unlikely that we will be able to offer storage for any trailers next year.
