Two storms are set to hit the UK soon. The forecasts for Friday include gusts well over 60mph with some forecasts showing almost 80mph and these exceptionally strong winds may be sustained for a few days.
It is imperative that you ensure that your boat(s) and equipment are stored in a manner that is safe. In accordance with Berthing Bye-law 6, craft must be tied down. Failure to secure your craft is a breach of the club bye-laws, is very likely to invalidate your insurance and will put neighbouring boats and people at risk.
