SBSC Europes at Weston Open

A terrific weekend of big weather racing at Weston Sailing Club (7th and 8th August) where it was touching 30 knots on the Sunday.

While ultimately, the bigger sailors were quicker, some the smaller sailors did put in a respectable performance, demonstrating that this is a class that really does offer so much to so many.

By the final race, all the local sailors and visitors form the Streaker fleet had retired to the hot showers. Some may call europe sailors “brave”… some have more accurate adjectives.
