Dear Members,
Further to yesterday’s email the committee members are aware of conflicting and confusing information circulating regarding sailing and the use of sailing facilities.
Frustratingly for us all, taking our boats afloat does appear to be permitted but it is access to the facilities, including specifically compound access, where we are endeavouring to gain clarity on what is and is not permitted.
Please bear with us and we hope you can understand that while uncertainty exists we are recommending caution as we would not want to encourage any member to take actions that could result in themselves and the club potentially breaching the lockdown guidelines.
